Dichiarazioni ufficiali, in inglese:
The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Immigreer’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Conservazione e cancellazione: i messaggi scaricati restano conservati finché l’organizzazione li usa in Immigreer.

Terms of Service – Gmail App
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Welcome to the “Gmail” app of Immigreer (the “Application” or the “Service”), the email module of the Immigreer platform, provided by Codebase S.r.l. (VAT no. 02098260850, Via Degli Orti, 72 – 93100 Caltanissetta, Italy; “we”, “our” or “the Developer”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Application. By installing, registering for or using our Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you are not authorized to access the Service.
1. Description of the Service
The Immigreer Gmail app is a cloud application that, after your authorization, integrates with your Google account (Gmail or Google Workspace) to download and display the mail of the connected mailbox and to send emails on your behalf. For Google mailboxes the Application uses the Gmail API exclusively. For non-Google mailboxes it may use standard mail protocols; this does not concern Google data.
2. Access to Google Data and OAuth2 Consent
To work, the Application uses Google’s OAuth2 authorization protocol to request access to your account. We never store your Google account password.
When you connect your account you will see a Google consent screen that explicitly lists the permissions (or “scopes”) the Application requests. The Application requests only these two permissions and no others:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly: to read the connected mailbox, that is the list of Inbox messages, the content of messages and their attachments, the history that the administrator chooses to download and the address of the connected account. It is used to show the mail to the organization’s authorized users and to register received messages in the document registry. The Application does not modify, archive, label or delete anything in your Gmail mailbox: archiving or deleting a message in the Application only affects the copy held in the Application.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send: to send an email written by a user, only when the user explicitly chooses to send it (new message, reply, forward, sending a registered document, test email). There are no automatic or bulk sendings.
By granting these permissions you authorize us to access your Gmail data exclusively for the purposes described and necessary for the operation of the Service. You can revoke these permissions at any time from the page https://myaccount.google.com/permissions of your Google account. Revoking access prevents the Application from reading and sending with that mailbox; using it again requires a new authorization.
The Application’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Official statements:
The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Immigreer’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Sending emails
For Google mailboxes sending is done through the Gmail API with the gmail.send permission, and the message appears in the Sent folder of your Gmail mailbox. Sending starts only when a user explicitly requests it. No third-party SMTP servers are used for Google mailboxes.
You are solely responsible for the content of the emails sent through our Service and you agree not to use the Application to send spam, or illegal or offensive material, or material that infringes the rights of third parties.
4. Privacy and Personal Data
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We do not sell or share your personal data or the content of your emails, except as strictly necessary to provide the Service as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy. In particular, for data received from Google APIs:
- Data processed: the address of the connected account; Inbox messages (sender, recipients, subject, text, attachments) received after the date chosen by the organization and, on the administrator’s request, in a chosen date range; messages written and sent by users, drafts and attachments; access tokens issued by Google.
- Roles: the customer organization that connects the mailbox is the data controller; Codebase S.r.l. is the data processor and processes the data only on the controller’s documented instructions, to provide the Service. Each customer, as data controller, enters into a data processing agreement with Codebase SRL, as data processor, pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
- Where they are stored: in the database and file storage of the Immigreer platform, on the infrastructure described in the Privacy Policy.
- Who can access them: only the authorized users of the organization that connected the mailbox, to whom the organization’s administrator has assigned that mailbox; the data of one organization are not visible to another. A small number of Codebase technicians can access the systems for support and security.
- Access tokens: they are stored in the platform’s database, accessible only to the service.
- No sale, transfer or advertising: we do not sell or transfer data received from Google, we do not use them for advertising or commercial profiling, and we do not transfer them to third parties except as needed to provide the features the user requested, to comply with the law, or with the user’s consent. People do not read the messages, except with the user’s consent, for security reasons or where required by law.
- Artificial intelligence: the optional writing assistance features (for example “Correct with AI”), provided by OpenAI through its API, receive only the text written by the user. The content of emails received or read from Gmail is never sent to the AI, and data received from Google are not used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- Retention and deletion: downloaded messages remain stored for as long as the organization uses them in Immigreer. Disconnecting or removing the mailbox and revoking access on Google do not automatically delete the messages already downloaded. Deletion is requested in writing to info@codebase.it or dpo@codebase.it, stating the organization and the mailbox: we carry out the deletion within 30 days (manual procedure on request). Only data that the law requires us to keep may remain.
5. User Responsibilities
The user is responsible for:
- Keeping the credentials of their Google account secure.
- Ensuring that the use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including anti-spam rules (such as the CAN-SPAM Act or the GDPR).
- Being solely responsible for any activity that occurs through their account.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be secure, available or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or other intangible losses, arising from the use of or inability to use the Application.
7. Changes to the Terms of Service
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. In case of substantial changes, we will inform you by email or through a notification inside the Application. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using our Service at any time and revoke access from the page https://myaccount.google.com/permissions of your Google account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, at our sole discretion, in case of breach of these Terms. For data already downloaded, section 4 applies (deletion on request).
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian State. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Caltanissetta, Italy.
